Get ready for a spectacular evening of festive cheer, pop anthems and stunning choral music as Rainbow Chorus returns to St George's Church this December.

Expect everything from Carol of the Bells, Sussex Carol and White Winter Hymnal to Like a Prayer, I'm Still Standing, Kiss From A Rose and The Times They Are A-Changin'.

Bring your friends, warm your hearts, and kick off the festive season with Brighton's LGBTQ+ community choir.

The evening is hosted by our amazing Musical Director Aneesa Chaudhry and accompanied by Adrian Ward, and as ever will be BSL interpreted. Rainbow Chorus will also hold their famous Hamper raffle, and there will be warming mulled wine and other refreshments at our well-stocked bar.

A winter concert not to be missed!

Thank you for supporting our choir!

Rainbows on tour!

The Rainbow Chorus took part in the Various Voices LGBTQI+ Choir Festival in Brussels - 5 days of concerts, 120 LGBTQI+ choirs from 18 countries and 4000 singers!

It was a blast, and the chorus survived the intense heat and awful accessibility like real troopers.

First up was an indoor performance at La Madeleine Hall, which boasts of 'a full range of services for people with reduced mobility to ensure their safety and comfort and to enable them to enjoy our events and facilities', but in reality had an inaccessible stage, which was very disappointing. Despite this, the choir managed to pull off an epic performance singing:

Seal Lullaby, Shenandoah, Happy Ending, Barcelona, What Was I Made For? and Chosen Family.

Next up was the outdoor performance at the Muziekkiosk in the Parc de Bruxelles - a beautiful bandstand with great acoustics, but it was also inaccessible! The choir sang:

I Will Survive/Survivor, Happy Ending, What Was I Made For?, A Little Respect and Chosen Family.

Finally, the chorus sang Chosen Family at the closing ceremony to mark the handover of the festival from Brussels to Brighton in 2030, followed by a little impromptu performance in the arcade nearby.
